Assessment

The Objective of Evaluation

Evaluation is conducted to measure the learner’s achievement of the language course objectives through the learning processes. There are two kinds of learning assessment namely formative assessment and summative assessment. The evaluation can be in form of objective test and/or essay test.


Formative Assessment

The formative assessment is weekly conducted to assess the learners' learning achievement of the modules' objectives. The number of formative test depends on the number of credit course, for example:

The assessment results will be announced to the students so that they can monitor their own achievement and motivate themselves to study further. Feedback obtained is subject to the evaluation of the modules.


Summative Assessment

The summative assessment is conducted once every semester at the end of the course tutorials. The final grade for each course can be counted based on the percentage.

Grading
